A New Friendship is Forming — Meet Pasadena Humane Society 🐾
We are going to be honest with you — this is one of our favorite updates to share. Because it involves an organization doing extraordinary work. And also dogs, cats, and possibly parrots.
The PMI-LA Social Impact Committee has connected with Pasadena Humane Society — and we are genuinely excited about where this relationship is headed.
Pasadena Humane is more than an animal shelter. Celebrating over 120 years of service, they are a community resource center built on compassion — providing shelter, veterinary care, wildlife rehabilitation, adoption programs, and so much more to animals and the families who love them across the greater Los Angeles area. In 2022 alone, they helped nearly 40,000 animals. Let that number sink in.

Here is what we are exploring together: • Volunteer participation — mobilizing PMI-LA members to give their time on-site • Pet adoption kit builds — assembling care kits to welcome newly adopted animals and their families home • PMWB-eligible project support — potentially offering our project management expertise to help their team grow and thrive |
This is exactly the kind of partnership that lights us up — one where we can contribute our hands, our skills, and our community all at once.
