A Weekend of Impact: Priya Means Love 5K Walk
This event, organized by The Good Karma Los Angeles Org & Project Management Institute Los Angeles (PMI-LA) through the Project Management Without Borders (PMWB) initiative, embodies the spirit of giving back and bringing people together to support critical causes—mental health and cancer awareness.
PMI-LA is proud to partner with The Good Karma Los Angeles Org through our PMWB initiative. This collaboration has allowed us to contribute our project management expertise to an organization dedicated to making a difference where it’s needed most. With over 210 weeks of dedicated service, The Good Karma Los Angeles Org has provided over 100,000 hot meals and essential supplies to those in need on Skid Row, Los Angeles. This remarkable achievement is a testament to what we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose.
The Priya Means Love - 5K Awareness Walk is more than just a fundraising event—it’s a chance to unite our community around causes that touch so many lives. Named in honor of those who battle mental health challenges and cancer daily, this walk aims to raise both awareness and vital funds for JiVA Mental Health and Cancer Support Community Los Angeles (CSCLA). The event produced 5k in profits to be divided between these 2 worthy organizations.
None of this would be possible without the tireless efforts of our volunteers. These individuals have poured their hearts into planning an event that not only promotes wellness but also brings our community closer together. Their dedication is inspiring, and it’s a reminder that every contribution—whether time, effort, or financial—can make a significant impact.
