Event Recap: Mentorship Mixer
Good conversations, new connections, and a reminder that career growth rarely happens alone.
Members of PMI-LA's current Mentorship Program cohort recently gathered at 33 Taps for an evening mixer, giving mentors and mentees an opportunity to connect outside of scheduled program sessions.
While mentorship often focuses on professional development and career goals, events like these provide space for something equally important: building relationships. Attendees spent the evening sharing project experiences, discussing career journeys, exchanging advice, and getting to know the people behind the titles.
One of the strengths of the PMI-LA Mentorship Program is the opportunity to learn from professionals at different stages of their careers. The mixer offered a chance to continue those conversations in a relaxed setting while strengthening the sense of community that makes the program valuable.
