PMI Chapter of the Year Semi-Finalist
PMI-LA has been informed that we have made it to the semi-finals in the prestigious Project Management Institute Chapter of the Year Award! What better way to mark our 50th anniversary year? This recognition is a testament to our commitment to social impact, member engagement and overall dedication to advancing the body of project management. We couldn't have earned it without our hardworking volunteers, members and incredible community!

What does this mean? This means that out of 330 Chapters world wide, 92 Chapters were eligible based on member growth, retention, and chapter initiatives. Of those 92 chapters, they were divided into 3 categories: Chapters with under 500 members, 501-1500 members, and chapters over 1500 members. PMI-LA has surged in membership growth to over 2400 members locally while maintaining our 80% retention rate and focusing 2023-2024 on local community Social Impact projects. PMI-Los Angeles was selected from all the North America chapters larger than 1500 to represent our region!
This is truly a remarkable achievement in our banner 50th Anniversary year!
