More Than Just a Soccer Match

Sometimes it’s nice to step away from project plans and deadlines and simply spend time together.

PMI-LA gathered at Yard House in Marina del Rey to watch the soccer finals today. The room had great energy, with plenty of conversation, cheering, and laughs throughout the match.

A Match Full of Reactions

One of the funniest moments came when we thought Spain had scored, only for the goal not to count. The disappointment across the room was immediate.

Thankfully, there was plenty to celebrate when Spain scored later in the match, followed by even more excitement at the final whistle.

Connecting Beyond Our Usual Events

The best part of the gathering was getting to know fellow members outside of our regular professional setting.

We were also happy to welcome visitors from PMI São Paulo, including Bruno Aguiar. They brought thoughtful wristband gifts and a delicious Brazilian peanut snack for the group.
