Volunteer Spotlight on Angelo Salazar
Our shining Volunteer Spotlight for the month of October is Angelo Salazar! Angelo has been volunteering with PMI-Los Angeles for about 5 years and is currently a volunteer for the Operations Committee.
1. What aspects of your involvement in this chapter bring you the most satisfaction?
Supporting the growth of young project managers, especially helping them develop their skills and leadership abilities, has been the most rewarding part of my involvement.
2. How do you personally define the significance of belonging to this professional community?
I believe each of us is responsible for our own personal and professional development. At the same time, being part of a community of like-minded professionals provides something invaluable: guidance, encouragement, and networking opportunities that strengthen our ability to grow and thrive.
3. Do you have a PM Tip that you would like to share with chapter members?
Seek out new experiences and dive in. You will meet great people, expand your network, learn a lot, and gain insight into your own strengths and interests.
