Our shining Volunteer Spotlight for the month of November is Sepide Fadaee! Sepide has been volunteering with PMI-Los Angeles for nearly 1 year and is currently a volunteer for the Membership Committee.

1. What aspects of your involvement in this chapter bring you the most satisfaction?

Volunteering with PMI-LA allows me to connect with a professional community that shares my passion for project management. I enjoy contributing to meaningful initiatives, learning from experienced leaders, and gaining hands-on experience that complements my academic background.

2. Considering your experience, what guidance would you offer to newcomers joining the chapter?

I would encourage new volunteers to stay active, attend events regularly, and speak up when opportunities arise. Volunteering here is not just about giving back , it's a powerful way to expand your network, improve your leadership skills, and stay current with industry best practices.

3. How do you personally define the significance of belonging to this professional community?

Being part of PMI-LA means being surrounded by people who are committed to excellence in project delivery. This community helps me grow as a professional, and it reminds me that leadership is about service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
