Topic: PMI-PBA: The Business Analyst on a Project
Introducing the PMI-PBA, PMI’s response to the demand for Business Analysis Certification for BA professionals involved on projects. Discover the role of the Business Analyst working with the Project Manager, and in some cases, filling both roles. Find out how IIBA differs from PMI on the BA focus. We will also discuss new business analysis standards for the exam.
About the Speaker:
Greta Blash has extensive experience as an executive and consulting IT professional, both domestically and internationally. Her areas of experience include program management, project management, agile scrum development, customer relationship management, and business intelligence.
In addition to her PMP certification, she also holds an agile certification (PMI-ACP) and business analysis (PMI-PBA) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI).
Greta has taught project management, business analysis and agile certification courses worldwide for the last ten years. She taught the entire Master of Project Management program for DeVry/Keller in Las Vegas.
She is a frequent presenter at various Region 7 chapter meetings and conferences.
Greta has served as vice president of education and programs at PMI-Southern Nevada, academic and military outreach liaison/SME for PMI Region 7, and VP of Outreach for PMI-San Diego. She is currently Director of Military Outreach for California Inland Empire (PMI-CIE) PMI chapter.
