The PMI-LA Chapter is pleased to announce another opportunity for networking plus a PDU in a different part of town. Members and non-members please join us at Angel City Brewery in the historic John A. Roebling Building in LA’s Downtown Arts District for our networking event on Monday, August 20 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Guest speaker Keith McEly will present "Project Management Logistics, Big Event Planning and Brewery Tour", explaining how Angel City Brewery manages big events with project management.
We will provide appetizers, one free drink ticket, plus the chance for a great raffle prize. Please sign up early to secure your ticket, as space will be limited.
You are welcome to attend even if you are not a member, and you do not have to be PMP certified (or even a project manager!). Come and find out more about project management and the LA Chapter. Keith McEly is a CERTIFIED CICERONE® and is marketing and events manager at Angel City Brewery. The location in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival of the city’s artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and craftspeople. They offer an ever-rotating selection of Angel City beer on tap, which includes a number of beers exclusively available at the Brewery. In addition to pints and flights, they offer brewery tours and events.
Keith has been with the brewery for 5 years, during which the brewery has undergone massive growth. Keith ensures ongoing projects and big events do not interfere with daily operations at the brewery, balancing the production needs of the space with the hospitality needs of the Public House on a day to day basis. In February 2013, Angel City Brewery opened the doors to the Brewery and Public House, but with limited hours.
Appetizers and one pint of beer or a non-alcoholic beverage are included.
