John Halberstadt is Head of Consulting Operations at En Dash and a strategic product, technology, and AI leader with a background spanning executive leadership and enterprise consulting. Work centers on helping organizations modernize how they build and deliver digital products by aligning product strategy, engineering execution, and business outcomes. At En Dash, John leads consulting strategy and delivery across engagements focused on product operating models, AI-enabled platforms, and enterprise transformation. Efforts include guiding organizations in adopting enterprise agility, modernizing engineering practices, and integrating AI into both customer-facing products and internal operating models. Prior experience includes serving as CIO/CTO for a Property & Casualty insurer, leading enterprise technology strategy, platform modernization, and cloud transformation. Additional leadership includes heading product, UX, and customer experience for AI and NLP platforms at Next IT, delivering conversational AI solutions across multiple industries. Across consulting and executive roles, John has advised leadership teams on portfolio governance, product strategy, and large-scale transformation, with a focus on connecting strategic intent to execution and measurable outcomes. Work spans financial services, technology platforms, and mission-driven organizations. John is also a published author on consulting, artificial intelligence, and governance, with writing focused on practical approaches to modern consulting, responsible AI adoption, and building organizations that can effectively operate in complex, technology-driven environments.
