Demonstration of how project deliverables and other documentation can be managed easily and efficiently, using time-tested principles and industry best practices that are based upon Configuration Management per the Capability Maturity Model.

Outlines common problems encountered around how project artifacts are managed, and how to solve them using best practices around managing project artifacts.

Illustrates how project directories are arranged, and how deliverables and no-deliverable artifacts are stored and managed. Includes how deliverables are Baselined and archived once changes are made.

Speaker

mercer-stephen-200x200.jpgStephen Mercer is Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), artist, author, and Senior Technical Writing professional with more than 22 years of experience in a variety of industries. As a manager in the Project Management Office (PMO) of a large IT organization employing more than 300 developers, he helped oversee projects and define project management methodology, auditing, and reporting for the organization. As an Instructional Designer, Steve has developed and implemented written and online training and tools for learners at all organizational levels. He is an author, and currently has three books available on Amazon.com.
