Webinar | Panel Discussion: Stuck with a Problem? Leverage Wicked Problem-Solving Toolkit for the Solution
Today’s problems come in all shapes and sizes and are only growing more complex. Specialized roles, remote teams, and siloed organizations require innovative ways to tackle everyday challenges. Make ideas a reality by utilizing the power of structured thinking and creative collaboration. Parash Sharma, Shivani Gupta, and Rosana Juestel will provide an overview of how the Wicked Problem-Solving Toolkit improves collaboration skills and enables learners to more clearly visualize the current state, uncover opportunities, and guide teams toward impactful solutions. In addition, the presenters will share how WPS will help facilitate more effective meetings with tips on how to turn passive bystanders into active participants with clear meaningful tasks.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a problem-solving exercise. Parash, Shivani, and Rosana will act as facilitators and use the WPS Toolkit to solve the problem creatively and collaboratively.
What is Wicked Problem Solver?
WPS Practitioner is an online course and toolkit designed to teach you and your teams how to solve problems at any scale by asking the right questions, making ideas visible, and engaging participants with tangible actions (think Design Thinking for the project mind).
Learn successful strategies and plays to address any challenge, big or small, including how to frame the right issues, navigate complexity, and probe ideas deeply to surface better solutions.
As the Past President of the PMI Los Angeles Chapter (2019) and a leader at the Bank of America, Parash Sharma is a seasoned Project Management Executive with over 18 years of experience leading and engaging Teams including Millennials to award-winning project outcomes. He is currently the Vice President, Release Train Engineer at the Bank of America, a role he has excelled at in the past 18 years winning several awards. His natural Servant Leader mindset wins him the hearts of those he leads; facilitating project excellence and influencing without authority. In his spare time, the work he does in the community has exposed him to effective strategies for building leaders and influencers. Parash brings extremely useful insights about personal development using proven methods, something he does quite naturally and effectively.

Rosana Juestel is a Project, Program, and Portfolio Management professional with over a decade of experience developing strategies to deliver small to large-scale projects and programs for the enterprise in the private and public sectors. In her most recent role as an Enterprise Program and Portfolio Analyst for Synovus Bank, Rosana supports a team of seven Portfolio Managers and a group of 35+ Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts. She is instrumental in helping deliver superior results for the portfolio by leading project governance and compliance, change management activities, stakeholder management, and portfolio reporting. Her previous achievements include supporting the implementation of a new mortgage platform and accounting system as well as the launch of a new rewards program and services for Synovus Bank. In addition, Rosana worked in other Project Management, Quality Assurance, and governance roles at TSYS and the City of Columbus Planning Office. Rosana earned her PMP certification in July 2017, Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) certification in July 2020, and Wicked Problem Solving (WPS) Practitioner in January 2022. She has been a member of PMI and the Columbus, Ga Chapter since 2014 where she has held multiple roles starting with VP of Marketing and Communications, then Chapter President, and most recently Past President. Rosana is a recent graduate of the PMI Leadership Master Class (LIMC 2020). She has recently started a new PMI Global volunteer role with the Insight Data and Analytics team.
Shivani Gupta is a Project Management evangelist, and a practicing PMO/Project Manager with an extensive track record of successful hands-on Project Management in Fortune 500 companies, and government & non-profit sectors. She is a Past President of PMI South Florida and she is managing a portfolio of cybersecurity projects for Bang Energy.
Shivani contributed as an SME for "PMIstandards+” (a reference book for project managers by PMI) and is co-authoring a book on leadership & project management. She has been a speaker at many national and international conferences and has served on an Advisory Board in Florida-based educational institutions. Shivani is an active member of the Forbes Business Council and is involved in entrepreneurial initiatives around project management.
Shivani holds multiple certifications in Project Management including PMP, CSM, SAFe, LSSBB, DASM, Agile Hybrid Project Pro, Stakeholder Management, and Change Management to name a few. She has an MBA in Operations and Marketing, a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, and a Bachelor’s in Medicine (ISM).
