NORTH LA | SCRUM at NASA and Other Unexpected Places
Any modern project manager knows that agility is key to success and one of the most successful Agile frameworks is SCRUM. We will briefly cover what SCRUM is and how it is typically applied, before looking at use cases outside of the typical commercial software development world. Examples of use at NASA, with hardware, and even in youth education will be presented.
Attendees will learn:
- What SCRUM is and the basic principles
- How it is used in typical settings
- Where SCRUM has been used in projects that have special challenges
- How PMs can incorporate Agility, and possibly SCRUM into their management
