PMI-LA Events

Is your resume optimized for today’s job market?  Is your LinkedIn profile relevant in today’s marketplace?  Do you feel comfortable going into a job interview?  Do you have problems establishing a people-based network?

If the answer to any of these questions is “no” or even “I’m not sure,” then you owe it to yourself to learn how to brand and land a job.

The PMI Los Angeles Chapter is pleased to present the Brand and Land professional development event conducted by Signofied Services.  John Signo and his team have been enthusiastically received by numerous PMI chapters across North America and now it’s our turn.

Brand and Land is a one-day 5-hour weekend event that teaches attendees how to improve their personal marketability by teaching the following skills:

• Resume Writing
• LinkedIn Profile Optimization
• Application Tracking System
• Networking

Whether you are in the market looking for job or not, this hands-on event will improve your marketability and odds of landing that job or advancement opportunity.

THE BRAND AND LAND ADVANTAGE:  Signofied will work with up to 3 lucky attendees willing to participate and immediately benefit from this event.  Imagine if you could get free counseling on these topics and help your fellow members at the same time.  We are looking for up to 3 people to share their resume and LinkedIn profile and get real-time feedback during the Brand and Land event.  The deadline for volunteering for the “Fab 3” is March 8^th.

Schedule

Brand and land your next job opportunity! It’s not just for the job seeker; it’s also for the employed. Participants will learn to create a better Brand through various tools, including LinkedIn, their resumes, the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Tool, and social media.

PDU

• 5 Strategic & Business Management PDUs events per PMI CCR guidelines. The PMI Los Angeles Chapter will submit PDUs for PMI Los Angeles chapter members only. All other attendees must submit their PDUs to PMI (self-claim) for this event. The PDU code will be given at the session for attendees that are self-claiming. For instructions on how to claim your PDUs for this event, please go to Reporting PDUs meetings or events.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

Please Note that PMI Los Angeles has a no-refund policy for this event. All event registrations are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

Photo Release

In consideration of the acceptance of this registration, I, the undersigned, specifically release the PMI Los Angeles Chapter and its representatives from any claims or liabilities arising from or related to my participation in this activity.

I understand the PMI Los Angeles Chapter or its representatives may take photographs of attendees at the above identified event. I agree that the PMI Los Angeles Chapter may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. (Note: "If I do not wish to be photographed, I understand it is my responsibility to notify the photographer on site at the event.")
