SOCIAL IMPACT | Los Angeles Regional Food Bank - Day of Caring
Currently, 1 in 5 people in Los Angeles experience hunger.
Fight hunger with us by giving just a little bit of your time.
Join your fellow PMI-LA Members for three (3) hours at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Volunteers assemble perishable food packages that go to families, individuals, older adults, and children who are food-insecure in Los Angeles County.

SIGN ME UP for Saturday, October 14th - 9:00 am-12:00 pm
You will be asked to create a Volunteer Profile. After you create a Volunteer Profile, select the event (it should be at the top of the list of opportunities).
After you click on the radio button it should show “Step 3: Click here to register for this event”. It should register you at that time.
Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation with all of the logistics. If you do not receive the email confirmation, please check your spam/junk folder.
- *Minimum age requirement is 18; NO exceptions*
- *All volunteers must wear closed-toe/closed-heel shoes*
You are welcome to invite your family and friends to join you. All parties must register as a volunteer through the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. All volunteers must be 18 years old to participate.
PMI Hours for Impact
A total of 3.0 PMI Hours for Impact will be awarded to the volunteers. PMI-LA will submit your hours of Impact!

Face masks are optional. The Chapter will have some available should you feel more comfortable wearing one.
Parking
Parking is on-site and limited. There will be double parking, so if you need to leave, there is also free street parking.
