Stride with heart and walk for hope as The Good Karma LA, brings our community together to raise awareness for children's mental health awareness and animal welfare. By joining this unique event benefiting two local non-profit organizations, Drew Child Development Corporation (Drew CDC) and Animal Care Zone, you are participating in a meaningful event that brings awareness and support to these causes.
Participants will meet at the Crescent Bay Park in Santa Monica to kick-off this inaugural event. Our partners will be present to provide anyone needing information or support about our causes. Participants are welcome to run, jog or walk at their own pace. All ages are welcome, with anyone under 18 to be present with a legal guardian to sign the waivers.

About this event
The "Priya Means Love" 5K Walk is an annual event that brings our community together to raise awareness and support for a wide range of meaningful causes. Each year, we highlight a different focus. This year, we are spotlighting children's mental health and pet-related causes. By joining us, you are participating in a meaningful eventthat brings awareness and support to these causes.A portion of the run proceeds and 100% of the fundraising will go to Animal Care Zone and Drew CDC.Your involvement directly contributes to these vital organizations.
Meet Our Partners
Animal Care Zone is dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray and homeless animals across India, the USA, and Northern Canada. In California, the organization actively rescues animals from overcrowded shelters, provides first aid and veterinary care, and supports sterilization and vaccination programs for dogs and cats. They also photograph and share urgent cases on social media to help find fosters and forever homes, while offering care and food for pets of the unhoused in Los Angeles. The Good Karma LA – A Nonprofit Organization Serving the Underprivileged
The Good Karma is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to serving the Skid Row community in Los Angeles. For over 4.5 years, we've delivered more than 155,000 hot meals and 330,000 water bottles, along with vital resources for those in need. Every month, we distribute 1,000 meals, 2,000 water bottles, 900 Liquid IV hydration packets, thousands of pieces of fresh fruit, 600 care kits filled with essential items, pet food, toys for children, and reading materials for all ages. We also provide new socks, tents, blankets, and tarps to the most vulnerable. We invite you to witness our volunteer efforts in Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Bay Area.
