Multi-Chapter | Using AI as Your Project Co-Pilot

Leadership = Power Skills
Technical = Ways of Working

Will AI Replace Me? It’s a question many PMs are asking.  But it's the wrong question. The right question is: What makes me irreplaceable in an AI-augmented project world? The answer is learning to use AI as your Project Management Co-Pilot.

AI is superior at data processing, pattern recognition, mathematical optimisation, continuous monitoring, and routine documentation. But you need to feed it data it can use properly to produce work for you. And that is often easier said than done. We’ll cut through the hype, talk about what is real (and easy), real (and reasonable with some up-front work), and what’s a pipe-dream of AI proponents.

Learning Takeaways:

  • Setting things up so AI can help with the grunt work
  • Using AI to generate options, not answers
  • Creating “Starter Kits” and on-the-fly updates with AI
  • What is actually AI-Hype and how you can make (some of) it work
    • Note: It takes effort and management support
