Programs Evening Meeting | Managing Collaboration in a Diverse Team Setting
This presentation will discuss the challenges that Project Managers might find in motivating today's more diverse and inclusive teams, how to identify individual member needs, and actions the informed Project Manager can take to generate and support member participation and team cohesion to achieve the goals of the project.
Bring your questions on how to recognize individual team member needs in achieving their goals and assignments, and how we can achieve collaboration and provide a comfort-level for all team members to perform and achieve at their highest level.
Speaker: Tom Iland
Tom Iland is a Certified Human Potential Coach, a published author, and an Accredited Speaker in the international Toastmasters organization. He works with clients to identify and explore their positive traits and build their strengths and confidence to fulfill their place in society. One area of specialty is as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultant.
Tom is particularly knowledgeable on helping people with Autism to live the life of their choice. Having been diagnosed with Autism himself he brings his experiences and advice to us as an Accredited Speaker. The A.S. designation has been awarded by the international Toastmasters organization to a small select group of speakers who have met their strict qualifications. His website is found at www.cometolifecoaching and his book is titled "Come to Life - Your Guide to Self-Discovery".
