PASADENA | Scrum for Your Life. The Principles of Scrum and How You Use to Achieve Your Goals.
Agile Project Management is in big demand by companies that want to develop software faster and stay ahead of the rapidly changing technology curve. The Waterfall approach of documenting requirements, developing, testing and then delivering is poorly suited to software, as requirements frequently change before the final product is complete.
Scrum is an agile process designed to deliver something functional every two to six weeks! This allows users to provide feedback rapidly to the development team, and the development team learns how to work together more efficiently faster.
Many of us take a Waterfall approach to life. We set goals three to five years into the future and find that desires, circumstances and resources can change dramatically in that timeframe. We set annual goals in January of each year, only to lose interest long before the year is over.
Using the principles of Scrum that you will learn in this session, you can improve your results in both your professional and personal lives.
