FLAGSHIP | Person-Centered Management: Bringing the Person Back to Business
Person-Centered Management is the name of a movement with in organizations that moves away from the traditional way of business that looks at groups or teams of people, and focuses on the person within the team. PC Management takes into account individual strengths, weaknesses, and integrates an understanding of the person as a whole on the functioning of the team.
Team members all come to a place of employment with their own baggage. Just like in any relationship, the nature of that baggage can greatly affect the turn out of the relationship. As an employee, the individuals in the organization bring their childhood hurt, their relationship problems, and their personalities to the teams that they work on. If the leaders of teams don’t have a good understanding of the individual, their life history, or a good understanding of the behaviors and patterns of communication that stem from hurts in childhood- the risk of poor teaming, less than desirable productivity, high stress, and high turn over are the likely results.
Sounds great, right? It is great, and Kristin Martinez’s experience and knowledge of systems and her expertise in adverse childhood experiences can help you assess, diagnose, and create a plan to transform your organizations way of teaming into a productivity powerhouse with employees that bleed the brand.
