Emotional Agility: Mind Full vs Mindful Project Managers

There is no need to wonder why you feel ‘Mind Full’ when it comes to managing projects. Project management involves so much more than just People, Processes, and Resources. Your role is not a simple. You are challenged to manage people who have colliding interests amongst personal and professional matters.

How can any Project Manager have a successful project with so many forces against them? If you ever feel like you are in a dark tunnel and no escape in sight, don’t be discouraged. The light you need in the darkness can emit from within. You can be the light. All you need to do is practice being Mindful and not Mind Full. According to the Harvard Business Review, case studies have shown how mindfulness in the workplace will lead to optimal results. By leveraging your emotional intelligence and tapping into yourself, you will be able to boost brain functionality, better performance, emotional regulation, reduce stress, and higher self-satisfaction. Being mindful doesn’t just benefit you.

Mindfulness helps project managers collaborate better, influence others, and build genuine rapport with all stakeholders. It’s all in your power to have equanimity. You may not be able to control undesirable outcomes however you are accountable for your reactions. Therefore being mindful is the best way to optimize your circumstances and rise above to find the light within.

Managing projects can be discouraging when project team members add further delay to deliverables by procrastination and poor communication. You can help struggling team members rise above bad habits or traits by teaching them how to be mindful. We will be reviewing mindful techniques and proven results. In this presentation, you will be provided the roadmap to the Top #9 Most Valuable Mindful Project Management Traits.

How can a Mind Full add to project failure? When your mind is full, you are unable to find clarity, reason, perspective, and truth. When you practice being Mindful, you are able to seek a connection to your inner wisdom while demonstrating strong Project Management skills. Come join us for this session to learn how being Mindful can make you the happiest and most successful Project Manager in the world.
