PMI-LA has committed to bringing an in-person PMP Prep back to our members!  If it is a success, we will strive to offer this course in the Spring and in the Fall which was the model pre-pandemic. To jump start this initiative, we are returning back to pre-pandemic rates!

ABOUT THIS COURSE:

This PMI Authorized course provides experienced project managers with the knowledge of concepts, terminology and techniques that are addressed on the PMP Exam from Project management Institute (PMI).  In addition to providing the 35 education hours of specific instruction required to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam from PMI, the course also provides access to on-line flash cards and test banks with questions from PMI.  The current exam is NOT based solely on the 7th edition of PMBoK, but rather on the 2021 Exam Content Outline and multiple references include the Process Group: Practice Guide, and the Agile Practice Guide from PMI.

Facilitated Methods has contributed to the 6th and 7th editions of the PMBoK and works closely with PMI to ensure top quality materials, with a success pass rate of 95%.  This course includes workbooks and guides on how to Ace the PMP.

If it highly recommended that the student take this course and then apply for the PMP EXAM roughly 6 weeks after completion to allow for time to get thru the test bank materials.

Course Format:  5 Saturdays, 8:00 am – 5:00pm

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Parking cost at USC is $20 per day.  Because this cost needs to be handled by the student (note there is lower cost public transportation available) by a third party parking company, we cannot include this in the costs.

Getting to the Venue & Parking

Session will be held in RTH 526 (5th floor).  See map below.

The flat fee for parking at USC is $20 for all attendees. All participants will require a photo ID in order to access campus (USC Security).

To lower the environmental impact of the event, we strongly encourage participants to ride the Los Angeles Metro, specifically the Expo ("E") Line Metro trains to get to campus.

• The E-Line service runs both ways until midnight
• Free parking is available at many stations including Culver City and La Cienega/Jefferson.  
• We recommend getting off at the Expo/Vermont station, which is a 7-10 minute walk from the venue (see map below).

Additional parking options nearby USC Viterbi include parking along Hoover, Vermont, and at the USC Village (20 minute walk)
